Additionally, the application provides support for video calls and it enables you to discover new people, share photos, play games and much more.

Tango is offered completely free of charge and it is available for iOS, Android and Windows mobile phones and for Windows PCs. Installing the application on a PC does not involve anything more than one click and it takes only a few seconds to complete the process. Apart from a working Internet connection and an online account, you don't have to meet any other requirements.

To create an online account, you only need to provide your name, email address and phone number. The best part is that you don't have to remember any usernames or passwords. Once your account is created, you can start adding people to your contacts list and start chatting right away. As previously mentioned, calls can be made between phones, from a PC to a phone or vice-versa. On mobile phones, the application uses the available data network, but it can also connect via Wi-Fi, which gives you the possibility of talking to your friends for as long as you want, without any kind of charge.

On Windows PCs, Tango's user interface looks like a smartphone. You can view your existing contacts, add new ones, review recent calls and make a few general settings in different menus. Contacts are displayed just like on a mobile phone, in alphabetical order and you can use a search function to find specific people instantly. Adding a new contact can be done by specifying the person's phone number or email address. If your friend has a Tango account, the application will find and add him instantly, without waiting for any confirmations.

Calls can be made just by clicking a listed contact. If you have a webcam, the application will use it for a video call. During a call, the application will display options for turning off the camera and muting the microphone. You can select a different audio or video device in the application's general settings menu, where you can also change the interface's skin, choose a different sorting order for your contacts and more.
